We actually visited the memorial garden to get out in nature with our 5 yr old and 4 month old, and see some sunflowers. It’s a beautiful, calm place, to explore. The rocky creek was a hit with our 5yr old, whilst the cafe was lovely to retreat back to, surrounded by large trees and overlooking the green field. The staff were warm and hospitable, always stopping to have a chat. Rob, the manager, was so welcoming and made us feel at home, checking in to see we received our picnic pack, and all was to our liking. The picnic platter we purchased was fresh, with generous servings of cold meats, cheeses, fruit, and dips. The Photo Booth was a lovely addition to the experience.
