What’s the difference between a Living Legacy garden or a Living Legacy forest and a traditional burial?

Well, in a traditional burial, you’ve got a graveyard, you’ve got lots of concrete, you’ve got lots of headstones and you’re losing an ecosystem.

At an emotional level, people are going there and they’re continuing to connect to what they’ve lost and the vibe of the whole place is grief and loss and that’s unavoidable with the human journey but with the Living Legacy garden or Living Legacy forest, we’re doing the opposite, we’re restoring ecosystems, we’re restoring soil health, we’re creating beautiful forests and gardens and you don’t just become the tree, you become its flowers, you become its leaves, you become its thousands of seeds and seedlings that get perpetuated through the circle of life and instead of connecting to what you lost, people get to connect to the flower that your life created and they get to connect to the beauty that your life created and our hope is that people have a deeper appreciation for what it means to be alive and that your life becomes a gift that connects people to the privilege of being alive.

It’s a huge difference economically, socially, environmentally and also, just at the profound level of what your existence goes on to mean.
